Position Summary:                                 

The Regional Account Manager for homebuilding and mortgage-affiliated clients is responsible for managing relationships with home builders, lenders, title companies, and other mortgage-affiliated partners. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and coordinating cross-functionally to resolve issues and maintain compliance with CFPB, RESPA and mortgage industry regulations. The ideal candidate balances relationship-building skills with an understanding of mortgage industry dynamics, compliance requirements, and account performance analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing training in all builder/lender divisions within his/her territory; promote WIAs services and benefits to our clients and their customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of homebuilding and mortgage-affiliated clients, serving as the primary point of contact for service needs, inquiries, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Assist in the management of marketing materials and promotional items. Print and mail marketing materials to our clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records within agency management systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues or escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings.
  • Visit all clients in designated or targeted territory based on road map requirement with emphasis on targeted areas.
  • Create and distribute monthly touch-points for all clients.
  • Educate clients on the insurance industry and how it pertains to our insurance carriers and current capacity.

Job Requirements:

  • Two to three years experience in Insurance Sales, Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience with a current Property & Casualty Agent’s license (or ability to obtain one).
  • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products for multiple states and carriers
  • Experience with Department of Insurance state specific solicitation and selling regulations
  • Outgoing, customer service focused, friendly personality and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Good computer skills experience with Windows based programs.
  • Attention to detail, the ability to prioritize work assignments and a “get the job done” attitude
  • Dependable, self-motivated and able to take action with minimal direction

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, read, listen and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Frequent travel is a requirement of this position (50% or more of their time).

Working Conditions:

Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for six to eight hours daily.  Travel to various locations is a requirement of this position.
