What to expect:

As a Recruiter, Hub Services at United Ground Express, you will work with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring managers to source top talent, screen candidates, conduct interviews, manage the selection process, and ensure a positive candidate experience, all while aligning with United Ground Express’s culture and commitment to equal opportunity hiring practices. You will leverage innovative sourcing strategies, candidate pipelining, and personal networking to attract top quality candidates.

How you will make an impact:

  • Source qualified candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking, internal referrals, etc.
  • Leverage data analysis and stakeholder feedback to proactively identify and respond to hiring needs.
  • Maintain data integrity when building and posting requisitions, managing candidate status, and recordkeeping.
  • Manage the sourcing, interview, and offer process through resume review, phone screens, conducting interviews, scheduling interviews with multiple stakeholders, candidate dispositioning, and extensive verbal and email communication.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience through effective, efficient communication when responding to inquiries and detailing next steps in the process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, cross departmental stakeholders, and the larger Talent Acquisition team to better understand hiring needs and offer strategic advice.
  • Ensure alignment with equal employment hiring practices throughout the full cycle recruitment process, offering related resources to hiring managers as necessary.
  • Represent UGE Talent Acquisition at hiring events, job fairs and other networking events.
  • Provide recruiting support to peers in non-assigned Locations via sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate engagement.
  • Create and present reports including candidate/hire data, various assessments, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Plan, schedule and lead project meetings, station meetings, and staffing calls with various stakeholders in multiple time zones/locations.
  • Approach changes with a growth mindset, adapting to process and policy updates.
  • Leverage ability to problem solve challenging policy and interpersonal situations, providing potential solutions while partnering with your leadership team to resolve.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • Minimum 1 year recruiting experience.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques including social media, job boards, and networking events.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and stakeholder requests while simultaneously managing multiple active requisitions.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Success in meeting metrics driven goals.
  • Hybrid position with up to 50% Travel required.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Aviation experience.
  • Practical experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Full-cycle recruiting.
  • Creative sourcing experience.
  • Experience in high volume recruiting.
