Cooley is seeking a Recruiter to join the Human Resources team.

Position summary: Working closely with the Recruiting Manager - Business Professionals, the Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment of business professional positions across the US. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the recruitment of business professional positions across the US
  • Create requisitions within Workday and meet with hiring managers to determine ideal candidate skills and qualifications and preferred recruiting sources/practices
  • Screen résumés and conduct phone screens, assess skillset and fit, and schedule and coordinate interview process
  • Manage and maintain candidate workflow within Workday
  • Coordinate background, conflicts and reference checks for final candidates
  • Make offers of employment, after consultation with HR Comp team and hiring manager; oversee the offer letter process
  • Participate in calls with the HR Systems team, acting as a subject matter expert for the recruiting process within Workday. Help consistently enhance the Workday recruiting process
  • Focus on recruitment from all sources including employee referrals, job postings, social media and agencies. Work closely with agencies on candidate submissions, interview coordination and offers of employment
  • Serve as sourcing expert to include building, developing, researching and maintaining resources and tools for strategic and targeted sourcing based on specialty job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, industry research and database sources
  • Develop and maintain pipelines of passive and active candidates through different sourcing strategies, including LinkedIn Recruiter, research and internet searches
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and utilizing various job sites with solid knowledge of job-hunting and recruitment sources to reach passive candidates
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter to source passive candidates business professional positions across the firm
  • Provide regular updates on active searches and pipeline metrics, target lists, recruiting activity, search strategy and candidate assessment
  • All other duties as assigned or required

Skills and experience:

Required:

  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
  • Ability to travel, as needed
  • 2+ years’ recruiting experience
  • Applicant Tracking System experience, Workday preferred
  • Familiarity with state and federal hiring laws

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with recruiting data analytics
  • Experience recruiting and building candidate pipelines from multiple and modern sources
  • Law firm experience

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Responsive and able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment

  • Comfortable speaking to groups
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to interact and work well with vendors and co-workers

Cooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices. EOE.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
