As Quality Manager, you’ll lead RK’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams while maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS). You’ll bridge the gap between design and delivery, ensuring manufacturing processes—from raw materials through final shipping—meet established specifications and quality standards.

This role partners closely with Engineering, Production, HR, Department Leads, suppliers, and executive leadership to create consistent processes, strengthen quality systems, develop teams, and prevent defects before they impact production or customers.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System, including quality manuals, SOPs, work instructions, inspection standards, and control plans.
• Partner with Engineering and Production to establish standardized best practices, reduce process variation, and ensure consistency across shifts and production lines.
• Lead audits, supplier quality activities, corrective actions, and problem-solving initiatives using tools such as 8D, DMAIC, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
• Manage the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process and ensure quality procedures, inspection checklists, and training materials remain aligned with current product designs.
• Monitor quality KPIs including First Pass Yield, defect rates, and scrap costs while providing updates to executive leadership and mentoring the quality team.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related technical field.
• 5–10 years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment, including 1–3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), engineering drawings, and precision measuring tools.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies; Green or Black Belt experience preferred.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE or CMQ/OE are highly valued.
