Manage ServiceNow implementation projects for federal clients in an Agile environment. Lead project planning, Scrum ceremonies, budgets, schedules, risks, contract deliverables, EVM metrics, financial reporting, and client communications. Support team onboarding, development, staffing transitions, and business development opportunities while ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.

What you will do
Project Management
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with federal government clients to understand their priorities and align our solutions accordingly.
- Provide leadership to project teams, promoting engagement and a sustainable pace to ensure quality outcomes.
- Ensure Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint demos, retrospectives, sprint planning, and backlog refinement, are completed in accordance with Agile Scrum best practices
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to guide teams, fostering collaboration, predictability, and transparency.
- Monitor team goals and performance, escalating issues to leadership as needed.
- Identify potential problems and work with leadership to develop corrective action plans.
- Track changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using established verification techniques, escalating larger changes to Program Manager.
- Oversee overall contract and project cost management, including budget tracking and burn-down tracking, with oversight from Program Manager.
- Communicate project progress to corporate operations and federal clients through established change management protocols.
- Operate independently in day-to-day execution, seeking guidance from Program Manager on higher-risk decisions.
Delivery Management
- Support project financials and contribution to monthly financial reporting .
- Assist with CLIN/CDRL tracking and coordination with contracts and business operations
- Track EVM (Earned Value Management) metrics where required by contract type
- Identify and escalate risks to scope, schedule, or budget in a timely manner, proposing initial mitigation ideas
- Identify opportunities for expansion within existing project work to Program Manager, Capture, or Accounts teams
Talent & Team Development
- Lead onboarding for new project team members in partnership with HR and technical leads
- Conduct regular check-ins with direct reports (where applicable), identifying skill gaps and supporting growth plans.
- Support staff transitions between projects/contracts
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture built on trust and accountability
What you will bring
A Project Manager must demonstrate the following skills and certifications at minimum:
- Experience leading ServiceNow implementation as a project manager.
- 4-6 years of project/program management experience, with at least 1-2 years specifically in federal government contracting
- Working familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices (Certified Scrum Master or similar a plus)
- Working knowledge of federal contract vehicles and terminology (IDIQ, GWAC, 8(a), CLIN, CDRL, COR interaction)
- Solid financial acumen — comfortable with budget tracking, and burn-down reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting to government stakeholders
- Experience managing distributed/remote teams
Icing-on-the-Cake Skills and Certifications
In addition the the must-have skills, we strongly value the following skills for Project Manager positions:
- PMP certification (or equivalent) required
- Experience with platforms relevant to Nuvitek's portfolio (ServiceNow, Appian, Salesforce)
- Prosci Change Management or similar organizational change certification
- Prior experience with federal/state agencies
- Exposure to business development activities (proposal support, capture assistance)
- Interest in growing into a Sr. PM role with expanded ownership over financials and team leadership
