We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our sales team in Dallas, TX.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Lead multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and performance goals that drive measurable business outcomes. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones while tracking progress and proactively addressing potential delays. 
  • Monitor project performance, communicate status updates, and provide stakeholders with clear visibility into risks, achievements, and next steps. 
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks by leveraging data, quality tools, and cross-functional collaboration to develop effective solutions. 
  • Manage project budgets, conduct research and analysis, and provide recommendations that support informed decision-making and project success. 
  • Coordinate resources across teams, ensuring the right talent and expertise are assigned to key project activities and priorities. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned, sharing best practices, and coaching team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Demonstrate strong project management capabilities by effectively balancing project scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables to achieve business objectives. 
  • Apply sound financial acumen to interpret key financial indicators, manage project budgets, and support data-driven business decisions. 
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders by tailoring complex information to different audiences and ensuring clear, actionable messaging. 
  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and incorporating their perspectives into project planning and execution. 
  • Navigate complex and often competing priorities by analyzing information, identifying solutions, and making informed decisions in dynamic environments. 
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues while driving timely resolutions to keep projects on track. 
  • Plan, prioritize, and align work activities with organizational goals, ensuring commitments are met and project milestones are achieved. 
  • Collaborate across functions and value diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive environment where constructive feedback, innovation, and continuous improvement thrive.

 


Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 
Experience: 
Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.

Qualifications

We are looking with someone with 3-5 years of experience. 

  • Own projects from order acceptance through final completion and closeout, ensuring contractual, customer, financial, and operational commitments are met.
  • Maintain accurate project forecasts and backlog information, including anticipated shipment, delivery, startup, invoicing, and revenue recognition dates based on the latest available project information.
  • Proactively manage project milestones, ensuring key activities are completed on time and project management systems are updated accurately and consistently.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for assigned projects, working across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Service, Finance, and other functional teams to drive successful execution.
  • Provide proactive and timely customer communication regarding project status, upcoming milestones, schedule changes, risks, required decisions, and actions needed from the customer.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, margin, costs, invoicing, change orders, credits, and other factors that could affect overall project profitability.
  • Identify schedule, commercial, technical, and customer risks early and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans before they impact project commitments.
  • Manage project changes and scope deviations, ensuring changes are properly documented, communicated, approved, and reflected in project schedules and financial expectations.
  • Drive project closeout activities, including delivery completion, startup and commissioning coordination, resolution of outstanding items, documentation, invoicing, and administrative closure.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and system records, including schedules, milestones, forecasts, customer communications, risks, action items, and project status updates.
  • Demonstrate independent project ownership and accountability, following through on commitments and escalating issues with appropriate recommendations when additional support or leadership involvement is required.
  • Lead and participate in project reviews, clearly communicating project health, financial position, schedule performance, risks, customer concerns, and recovery actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring project execution challenges and recommending improvements to processes, tools, reporting, and communication practices.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to other project team members, including supporting onboarding and development of less experienced Project Managers when appropriate.
