We’re seeking an organized, process-oriented, and adaptable Project Manager to join our Legal Operations team for a role that combines project management, technology implementation, AI adoption, people management, and data-driven process improvement. You will own and execute critical projects - from managing key tools and delegating responsibilities to leading strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, automation, and scalability across Legal.

In this role, you will partner with our in-house legal team and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize processes, implement innovative tools, and deliver impactful solutions that drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

  • Manage medium to large-scale legal operations projects from scoping through delivery, leveraging strong project management skills and tools

  • Develop and maintain project plans, roadmap milestones, track decisions and deliverables, identify risks, and ensure alignment with business objectives

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, managing engagement and communications throughout project lifecycles

  • Document lessons learned, best practices, and ensure effective knowledge transfer after launch

Technology & Workflow Management

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for project management tools and key legal technology platforms

  • Leverage generative AI platforms (e.g. similar to Harvey.AI, CoCounsel, GC.AI, ChatGPT, Ironclad AI, etc.) and proprietary, in-house AI agents

  • Administer systems, troubleshoot issues, and manage intake of requests from Legal

  • Collaborate with Legal stakeholders to gather requirements, test enhancements, and implement updates or migrations

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, capture metrics, or add value through innovative creativity

  • Help prioritize tasks and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with legal ops, attorneys, finance, support teams, and business stakeholders to streamline workflows

  • Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and tools

  • Contribute to continuous improvement through process mapping and reengineering techniques

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, business development, consulting, or related field

  • Proven experience managing projects from start to finish. Bonus: grasp of basic project management methodologies (i.e. Agile, Scrum) or PMP, CSM or equivalent project management certification

  • Interest in working with an in-house legal team or legal-adjacent stakeholders

  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities asynchronously

  • Ability to travel 1 – 3 times per year

  • Proficiency with project management software, such as Airtable, Jira, Asana, Notion, or similar

  • Experience using common tech software, such as Confluence, Slack, Zoom, Miro, Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)

  • Aptitude for quickly learning new tech platforms. Bonus: familiarity with legal ops software (Ironclad, Legal Tracker, Conga, Harvey.AI, GC.AI, IVO)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and some experience or interest in people management

  • 4-year degree (BS, BA) from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
