What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with departmental leadership to ensure strategic objectives are effectively implemented and delivered according to established timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Management team members through coaching, career planning, and competency development.
- Ensure appropriate onboarding, training, and documentation processes are completed and maintained.
- Review project system setups, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine team meetings to facilitate communication, monitor workload, and support resource forecasting.
- Collect, monitor, analyze, and report on team performance metrics to assess productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities for Project Management team members.
- Promote collaboration across departments to ensure effective communication, efficient resource utilization, and successful contract execution.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and streamline Project Management processes.
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and documentation standards.
- Support the development, review, and maintenance of SOPs, departmental training plans, and job descriptions.
- Lead departmental initiatives and process improvement efforts related to systems, services, and operational workflows.
- Participate in customer meetings and presentations alongside Business Development and Operations teams as required.
- Perform additional responsibilities and special projects to support organizational objectives.
What We Look For
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of six years of experience in telecommunications, SaaS technologies, Clinical Trials, Healthcare IT, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Six or more years of people leadership experience preferred, including direct management of teams of 15 or more employees.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and scale high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process.
- Experience working within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, operational processes, and customer service principles.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate across multiple functions and leadership levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 20% as business needs require.
