We’re looking for an IT Program Manager to join Team Snapchat!

What you’ll do:

  • Independently plan projects of significant complexity and risk.

  • Organize the overall project team and establish clear roles and responsibilities at the beginning of each project.

  • Prioritize roadmap deliverables based on business alignment and the strategic direction of the technology organization. 

  • Build strong relationships and trust with stakeholders, keeping them and their teams engaged in the project, e.g. through status reporting and issue management.

  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues across multiple projects.

  • Serve as a liaison between other functional teams that are running concurrent projects with related dependencies.

  • Maintain program documentation, schedules, and project management tools.

  • Facilitate stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

  • Partner with the business (Spectacles, Security, Finance, HR, etc.) to understand the organization’s goals in order to determine project scope and deliverables.

  • Partner with technical teams within IT (Networking, Infrastructure, Enterprise Engineering, etc.) to lead operations sprint planning, standups, and project planning.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience working in fast paced environments while delivering multiple projects.

  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.

  • Ability to understand the technical details and drive the projects through all phases from design to implementation and post-implementation monitoring/support.

  • Understanding of IT technologies, systems, and applications relevant to the program

  • Solid understanding of Atlassian suites (Jira, Confluence) and how it supports business operations.

  • Able to serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence project management tools.

  • Proficiency in utilizing generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, and similar platforms) through effective prompt engineering to enhance personal productivity and optimize program management tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.

  • 2+ years in a project management or program management role leading projects of significant complexity.

  • 2+ years of IT experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience as an Atlassian administrator

  • Project management certification (CSM, PMP, etc)

  • Atlassian certification (ACP100, ACP120, etc)

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$133,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$126,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $76,000-$113,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
