Workiva is seeking a Program Manager to lead strategic Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives that align cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence across our revenue engine. This role, part of the Enterprise Program Management (ePMO) team, plays a role in delivering high-impact, critical programs that span Sales, Marketing, Customer & Partner Experience, Partners, Legal, Finance, Product and Business Technology.

The ideal candidate brings strong program management capabilities, experience working with GTM functions in a >$1B, public SaaS organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment. You are a clear communicator, a collaborative problem solver, and someone who brings structure and momentum to complex initiatives — without needing formal authority.

What You’ll Do

GTM Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with GTM and key business leaders to scope, plan, and execute programs that support growth, efficiency, and customer success

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution for key initiatives such as territory planning, AI for Sales,  data enrichment, customer lifecycle optimization, and enablement

  • Help define and refine GTM processes, coordinating across teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and clarity

  • Support strategic planning and execution cycles, ensuring GTM programs and outcomes align with company-wide objectives and milestones

Program Delivery

  • Create end-to-end program structure and executable plans including defining processes, deliverables, operating model, and operating cadence

  • Provide programmatic support on highly visible and complex programs with the ability to see the larger picture, conduct regular reviews to clear blockers, escalate key decisions, provide recommendations and solutions, and drive cross-functional alignment, accountability and collaboration

  • Create and manage detailed project and/or program plans, timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies for GTM programs

  • Drive accountability across stakeholders, track progress, and escalate issues when needed to keep initiatives on course

  • Collaborate closely with Business Systems, Data & Analytics, and Enablement teams to ensure operational readiness and system support for GTM efforts

  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders on program status, blockers, and outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Marketing, CPX, Partners, Product, and Tech teams to ensure successful execution of cross-functional programs

  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities, aligning stakeholders and removing roadblocks to maintain momentum

  • Align complex programs and secure buy-in, while balancing prioritization

  • Help build a culture of collaboration and shared ownership across the GTM ecosystem

Change Management & Enablement

  • Manage change management activities across stakeholder engagement, including messaging/communication planning, support and enablement

  • Coordinate with enablement, operational teams, and others as needed to ensure successful rollout and adoption of new tools, processes, and initiatives

  • Develop and support documentation, training, and stakeholder communications as part of GTM change management

  • Identify and implement best practices for sustainable and repeatable GTM program delivery

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in program or project management, within or supporting GTM functions

  • Familiarity with GTM systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Gainsight)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Teams, or Partners

  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B tech environment

  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication ability and comfort with discussions with senior audiences and executives

  • Exposure to sales strategy, marketing operations, or customer lifecycle programs

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile)

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangement
