About Vantage Data Centers

Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world’s well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.

Position Overview

Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Program Analyst to support our Build Cost Optimization program. This role will assist in identifying, analyzing, and tracking cost-efficiency initiatives across global data center construction projects. Unlike traditional construction roles, this position primarily involves data analysis, research, and reporting to help drive cost reductions and improvements through the full lifecycle of design, build, and operate.

The Program Analyst will collaborate closely with teams in Design, Procurement, Construction, and Facility Operations, providing support through detailed analysis, cost tracking, and preparation of reports and dashboards for senior management review.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support in the identification and implementation of strategies that reduce capital expenditures and support cost-efficient new product introductions across Vantage’s global portfolio.

  • Maintain cost analysis frameworks to inform business-level decisions on expenditure, cost-saving opportunities, and investment in new product offerings.

  • Partner with New Site Development, Construction, Product Development, and Site Selection/Market Development teams to ensure accurate cost planning, forecasting, and budgeting associated with new products and cost reduction opportunities.

  • Make improvement recommendations on internal processes related to cost data management, ensuring cost efficiency, financial transparency, and alignment with product development timelines.

  • Conduct cost studies at various project phases, with a particular emphasis on conceptual planning, pre-construction optimization, and cost-effective new product introductions.

  • Evaluate and recommend cost-saving opportunities through alternative technologies, value engineering, procurement strategies, and innovative product solutions.

  • Analyze cost trends, market insights, and lessons learned to continuously refine and enhance cost management and product introduction practices.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate cost, schedule, and product-introduction risks associated with new and ongoing projects.

  • Participate in meetings and coordination calls to ensure ongoing communication and alignment of initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5-8 years of experience in cost analysis, data analysis, procurement support, construction management, or similar analytical roles; experience within data centers or infrastructure projects preferred.

  • Familiarity with construction processes, procurement, and basic financial concepts.

  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of clearly presenting findings and collaborating effectively with team members.

  • Travel as required, up to 10%, to support program implementation and collaboration across teams.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.

  • Ability to travel occasionally, up to 10%, to support team activities or meetings.
