Position Purpose:

The Production Coordinator handles many aspects of production scheduling and coordination, from securing studio space to scheduling crew and talent. The position serves as the central point of contact for all production-related logistics, ensuring that studio recordings are executed smoothly, efficiently, on time, and within budget. The Production Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the logistics of our programming and enabling teams to deliver high-quality content to our audience.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules for studio recordings, ensuring timely completion of all projects.
  • Coordinate with producers, directors, and department heads to schedule studio time, set construction, and equipment rentals.
  • Liaise with talent agents and representatives to schedule auditions, rehearsals, and recording sessions.
  • Coordinate set construction, decoration, and teardown with the production design team and construction crew.
  • Hire and schedule crew members, including camera operators, lighting technicians, sound engineers, and production assistants.
  • Communicate with crew members regarding call times, responsibilities, and schedule changes.
  • Coordinate talent scheduling, including actors, hosts, and guest performers.
  • Communicate with talent regarding audition schedules, script readings, and recording sessions.
  • Secure studio space and oversee facility logistics, including access, parking, and equipment setup.
  • Maintain Monday.com boards to help facilitate studio and crew schedules and shoots.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to fulfill production requirements.
  • Assist in budget planning and tracking studio recordings, sets, crew, and talent expenses.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide administrative support to the production team, including organizing meetings, maintaining records, and preparing documents.
  • Assist with on-set production tasks as needed, such as distributing scripts, coordinating meals, and managing talent logistics.
  • Facilitate communication between production team members, departments, and external partners to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and requests related to production scheduling and logistics.
  • Complete other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Monday.com, or similar.
  • Must be able to operate both Mac and Windows-based computers.
  • Perform duties with integrity and professionalism in every work situation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.  

Requirements:

  • Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign a Statement of Faith.
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent education is preferred.
  • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in a media production environment preferred.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
