Qualificaitons:
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or Information Systems preferred
- A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working directly with business stakeholders
- Experience in Federal or Public Sector IT, or in a regulated/compliance-driven environment (e.g., CMMC, FedRAMP, FISMA)
- Experience managing or supporting technology initiatives for teams operating under CMMC Level 2, FedRAMP, or similar compliance frameworks (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft GCC High tenant, commercial-to-GCC High capability differences, or Microsoft 365 enterprise environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with FedRAMP-certified product offering, feature availability and functionality differences (preferred)
- Knowledge of SAFe agile development principles desired
- Business analysis skills
- Ability to create gap analyses
- Ability to create user story maps
- Demonstrated ability to manage, justify, and present a budget tied to the team's strategy
- Experience working cross-functionally with business and IT personnel to develop shared goals and product vision

- Strong passion for exceeding customer expectations and mapping IT activities to measurable business value

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $91,200.00 to $114,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Product Owners have ultimate accountability for what their product teams work on as well as budgetary responsibility for each product area, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and maximum value back to the business. They accomplish this by working across customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams to understand business processes and requirements, translating them into prioritized tactical efforts and ensuring all strategic work is clearly owned and sequenced.
The Product Owner – Federal & Public Sector is responsible for defining and delivering a cohesive, efficient, and competitive technology experience for WWT’s Federal and Public Sector teams operating in a CMMC Level 2 compliant environment. This role serves as the primary bridge between Federal/Public Sector business leadership, IT delivery teams, and Security & Compliance stakeholders, translating strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps and backlog items.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain a clear product vision and strategy for WWT's Federal and Public Sector teams operating in a CMMC Level 2 compliant environment; align product strategy with PubSec/Federal business objectives and WWT IT priorities
- Maintain a continuously updated and iterative Product Roadmap for their given product or application based on continuously evolving requirements received from Product Management as well as our Business and IT Stakeholders
- Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term roadmaps for impactful and strategic initiatives; clearly communicate the rationale behind priorities and proactively manage timeline changes with all stakeholders
- Maintain high-level ownership and accountability for the value delivered; develop, maintain, and be accountable for budget requirements for the Federal and Public Sector product area to maximize value delivery and minimize overall cost
- Employ technology thought leadership specific to the product, application, or platform to ensure both business continuity and innovation on behalf of our stakeholder groups
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders across Federal/Public Sector business leadership, IT delivery teams, and Security & Compliance; serve as the primary liaison between business needs, technical constraints, and compliance guardrails
- Conduct continuous gap analysis between PubSec/Federal user experience and commercial environment capabilities; surface user friction points and inefficiencies and translate findings into actionable backlog items with clearly communicated business rationale
- Drive the governance and operating model for the PubSec/Federal product area, including participating in a PubSec/Federal User Experience Steering Committee, providing transparent status reporting to cross-functional teams
- Use data and metrics to guide prioritization and decision-making, including user satisfaction, workflow efficiency within compliance boundaries, and measurable improvements in tool adoption and utilization
