Role Summary:

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will be the cornerstone of our GTM strategy, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to establish Censys as a market leader. Drawing on your extensive experience in the security domain—particularly in threat intelligence/detection, asset discovery, and vulnerability management—you’ll take full ownership of the attack surface management product. You’ll lead the creation and execution of a compelling value proposition, built on a deep understanding of market share, competitive landscape, technical nuances, and customer use cases. Additionally, you’ll craft sharp, targeted messaging and content that resonates across all channels, ensuring strong alignment with buyer and influencer personas.

What You’ll do:

  • Establish the unique value proposition of your products, with a clear understanding of the target markets and buyer personas.
  • Work with the product and marketings teams to develop and execute a consistent product launch process
  • Author compelling, high quality product content, both at a business and a technical level, in a variety of formats including print, web, social media, and video.
  • Collaborate with the content and demand gen teams to drive a marketing strategy that meets or exceeds pipeline, bookings and conversion targets.
  • Effectively work at building and executing plans that cross different functional groups, including product management, business development and sales.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of sales enablement materials to arm the sales team with strategies and competitive intelligence that increase sales productivity and pipeline conversion
  • Engage in analyst relations with Gartner, Forrester, etc.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand and document personas, use cases, and common objections 
  • Consistently analyze win/loss reporting, close rates, and other key funnel metrics to help drive product marketing direction

What You’ll Bring: 

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a strong preference in the threat intelligence/detection, vulnerability management, and asset discovery spaces.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences, including C-level executives and technical practitioners.
  • Strong project management and time management abilities, demonstrating the capacity to handle multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with sales teams, product management, press, and industry analysts to drive cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • A highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to quality and a passion for achieving results.
  • Ability to excel in demanding environments, showcasing adaptability, initiative, and follow-through on complex projects.
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, with the capability to engage and persuade a variety of stakeholders, from internal teams to external partners.
  • A collaborative spirit and a hunger for success, thriving in team settings and contributing to shared goals.

Our target salary range for this role is between $150,000 USD and $175,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
