Who we are looking forThe Product Manager within the Digital Innovation Group (DIG) plays a key role in advancing Re:Build Manufacturing’s mission to harness digital innovation as a driver of scalability and operational excellence. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating digital transformation opportunities across Re:Build’s portfolio of manufacturing and engineering services companies, defining product requirements and success metrics, and guiding the development and deployment of digital solutions that deliver measurable business impact. Working cross-functionally with technical, operational, and business team members, the Product Manager ensures solutions align with operational needs and bring value across the portfolio. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, the ability to build trust and alignment across teams, and effective oversight of the product lifecycle, including elements of project management to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
What you get to do!
- Partner with portfolio Manufacturing and Engineering Services companies to identify pain points, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital solutions
- Conduct discovery sessions and collaborators interviews to understand business needs, workflows, and success criteria
- Evaluate and prioritize digital solution opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment
- Define clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for software development teams
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align with portfolio company needs and DIG strategic objectives
- Establish metrics to measure solution impact and return on investment
- Collaborate closely with DIG's software development team throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation through deployment
- Facilitate requirements workshops, design reviews, and sprint planning sessions with technical and business team members
- Serve as the product owner, managing backlog prioritization and making trade-off decisions
- Monitor solution performance post-deployment and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Present business cases, progress updates, and results to executive leadership and portfolio company collaborators
- Stay current on digital trends in manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technologies, and relevant SaaS solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships across portfolio companies to drive adoption and engagement
- Document product specifications, user guides, and change management materials
- Travel to portfolio sites as needed (will only require domestic US travel)
- Other responsibilities as assigned
What you bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required; MBA or relevant advanced degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in manufacturing technology, B2B software or SaaS
- Demonstrated experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment
- Experience in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, or engineering services strongly preferred
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products from concept to delivery
- Experience conducting requirements gathering, user research, and partner management
- Background in change management and solution adoption within enterprise environments is a plus
