Are you a builder, a conductor, and an innovator? Have the best moments of your career been when you transformed a complex problem into a product that delivered measurable outcomes for millions of users? If so, TurboTenant is looking for you to join our team as a Product Manager. We are a product-driven company where our PMs have an enormous impact, and this is your opportunity to build products for both independent landlords and renters as they navigate the rental process. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where opportunity is abundant, innovation is expected, and releases happen daily.

What You'll Do

As a Product Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team to build products that deliver value to our users and to TurboTenant. Your mission is to accomplish company and team OKRs by setting a roadmap that not only drives user satisfaction but also meets the goals of the business. You will also take charge of your product team’s day-to-day work, acting as the product owner. More than just managing, you’ll be expected to think strategically and analytically about improving the product, our technology, and how we build software.

  • Product Team Execution: You'll have control over your team’s velocity, predictability, and quality. This includes breaking projects up appropriately to deliver value as quickly as possible and setting important deadlines that push the team. You'll ensure sprints are planned and executed precisely, successfully meeting delivery projections on all major items most of the time.
  • Measurement & Impact: You'll be a proactive participant in user research and will be proficient at using quantitative data tools like Metabase and Mixpanel. You'll use data to explain the 'why' behind product decisions and to identify insights that drive outcomes for the user and business. You'll also design and execute experiments to enhance the product offering.
  • Strategic Planning: You will develop a roadmap for your team that extends beyond the next two sprints and will adapt to changing priorities as unexpected problems or opportunities arise. You'll also share information about industry trends and competitive practices regularly.
Your Superpowers

To thrive in this position, you'll need the following skills and experience:

  • Strong Product Sense: You have a strong product sense, which includes problem understanding, impact measuring, UX, and monetization patterns. You have a track record of great product decisions in design, user experience, and prioritization.
  • Leadership & Agile Expertise: You have experience working closely with a team of engineers, design, and QA. You have strong soft skills to coach, facilitate workshops, and present materials. You have experience in Scrum and expert-level project management skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: You have technical knowledge of the Dev Pipeline, git branching, and DB schema. You can also spot good design.
  • Experience to Dominate: You have 2+ years of Product Management experience.
