Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of international Value-Added Services (VAS) that drive new revenue streams and increase subscriber engagement
- Create and manage compelling business cases, including market opportunity, financial projections (revenue, cost, ROI), and success metrics, to secure executive buy-in for new international VAS initiatives
- Act as the subject matter expert on the international VAS landscape, including competitor offerings, emerging technologies, and consumer trends, to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance), technical teams (e.g., Engineering, IT), and third-party partners to align on product goals and ensure seamless execution
- Own the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to launch, in-market performance, and eventual sunsetting
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success criteria for all international VAS products, regularly analyzing performance data to inform strategic decisions and future product enhancements
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 4+ years of product management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or lead role, preferably within the mobile telecommunications industry
- Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle from ideation and business case development to launch, growth, and end-of-life for consumer-facing services
- Experience in developing and leading product roadmaps that align with company strategy and deliver on key business objectives, such as revenue growth and customer retention
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strategic mindset that wants to dig deeper and understand why
- Project management and organizational skills
- Strong technical aptitude, with experience working closely with engineering teams to define APIs and technical requirements for international service integrations
- Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to measure product performance, identify trends in international usage, and make data-driven decisions
- Experience in developing detailed business cases that include financial modeling, market sizing, and P&L responsibility for product lines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively present product strategies to executive leadership and technical teams
- Ability to manage third-party vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure performance against service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
