Who We Are

Nava is on a mission to #fixhealthcare. Nearly 160M Americans rely on their employers for healthcare — yet the system is broken, bloated, and dominated by incumbents who resist change. Nava fuses deep benefits expertise with cutting-edge technology to deliver a modern, transparent, and affordable healthcare experience.

Founded by seasoned entrepreneurs and backed by leading investors, Nava is one of the fastest-growing benefits brokerages in the country. We’re the first to combine brokerage know-how with proprietary tech like HQ: our AI-powered benefits platform, designed to help HR teams take control of renewals, simplify strategy, eliminate spreadsheet chaos, and empower employees to navigate their benefits with ease.

In a $50B industry hungry for change, Nava is built to win — lowering costs for employers, delighting employees, and reshaping how healthcare works for millions of Americans.

About the role

Nava serves for-profit, non-profit, and government entities. Their employees use our products to compare different insurance products, find the best doctors, understand how much things will cost – factoring in everything from the insurance product itself to real-time deductible usage to how much that doctor is likely to bill for a service.

When people have issues accessing care or with a large bill, they use our products to better understand what’s going on and then connect with an expert level Advocate to resolve those issues. Advocates regularly help people get access to care that was otherwise denied, and make five and six figure bills disappear.

You will lead this product area and report to the co-founder & Chief Product Officer.

About you

You are a voracious learner with a growth mindset. You frame your objectives as outcomes rather than features and are comfortable designing a research plan from scratch. You use storytelling and data to align the broader team around a course of action.

You use tools like Claude Code and Codex in your personal and professional life. You are comfortable navigating a complex codebase, applying fixes and enhancements, and opening PRs with help from agents. You embrace the increasingly blurring lines between engineering, design, and product management.

You are happiest working with a small but highly effective group of builders to deliver innovative products that improve the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive engagement and satisfaction with Nava’s employee-facing technology products, helping people make informed healthcare decisions and get the care and support they need.

  • Shape and evolve the product roadmap in partnership with the Chief Product Officer, Customer Advisory Board, and internal stakeholders, translating customer needs and company strategy into clear priorities.

  • Set annual product goals and measurable targets with stakeholders, align the team around the outcomes that matter most, and use evidence of impact to guide decisions throughout the year.

  • Work closely with product support teams to uncover usability issues, bugs, and friction. Relentlessly pursue their resolution and verify that changes improve the customer experience.

  • Partner with product marketing to tell a compelling story about our products and turn that story into interest and adoption among prospects and existing customers.

  • Lead a close partnership across engineering and design to move from discovery to delivery, learn quickly, and build the product other teams copy.

Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years in product management.

  • A demonstrated track record of taking products from zero to one and finding product-market fit, with a bias toward action and rapid learning.

  • Experience deploying and scaling mission-critical SaaS products.

  • Evidence of delivering measurable improvements in product adoption, engagement, satisfaction, or other meaningful customer and business outcomes.

  • Experience aligning cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders around product priorities, goals, and tradeoffs.

Working at Nava

As a remote-first company, Nava is committed to building a dynamic and inclusive culture where you have the autonomy to thrive. You’ll be supported by cutting-edge technology, a collaborative team, and a shared mission to revolutionize healthcare.

Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. We believe that solving America's healthcare problem requires leveraging America's greatest strength: our diversity. Healthcare affects everyone – and a team that includes people from all backgrounds and walks of life will be more effective at driving change than a homogeneous one. We are excited to build that kind of team at Nava.
