About Gaya

Gaya is a browser extension built for independent insurance agencies. It eliminates the manual data re-entry that slows teams down every day, letting agents move information across carrier portals, AMS systems, and raters without retyping anything. Our customers save real time on every quote. We're growing, and we need someone who can make sure every new customer actually feels that.

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to own the earliest, most decisive moment in the customer journey: onboarding. You'll start by making sure new customers reach value as fast as possible, use analytics to understand where they succeed and where they drop off, and grow into owning a broader slice of the product roadmap over time.

This role is designed as a progression. You'll begin close to customers and data, and as you build context and demonstrate impact, you'll take on end-to-end ownership of features from discovery through launch and iteration.

What You'll Do

Phase 1 — Own customer onboarding (first ~3–6 months)

  • Own the new-customer onboarding experience end to end, from first touch to activation.

  • Map the onboarding funnel, identify friction and drop-off points, and ship improvements that shorten time-to-value.

  • Partner closely with customer success, sales, and support to understand where customers get stuck.

  • Define and track activation metrics; run experiments to move them.

Phase 2 — Deepen product analytics

  • Build and maintain a clear picture of how customers use the product, using data to separate signal from noise.

  • Instrument key flows, define the metrics that matter, and make analytics a shared source of truth across the team.

  • Turn behavioral insights into prioritized, evidence-backed product opportunities.

  • Partner with data/engineering to ensure we're measuring the right things well.

Phase 3 — Feature roadmapping & ownership

  • Translate customer insight and analytics into a prioritized product roadmap.

  • Own features end to end: discovery, spec, delivery, launch, and iteration.

  • Balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints when making tradeoffs.

  • Communicate the roadmap and its rationale clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong analytical instincts — comfortable digging into product data and making decisions from it.

  • Customer empathy and a habit of talking to users directly.

  • Clear communication and the ability to drive alignment across functions.

  • Bias toward action: you ship, measure, and iterate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with product analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar) and SQL.

  • Background in B2B or SaaS.

  • 2–3 years of Product Management experience.

  • Experience running experiments and defining metrics from scratch.

What Success Looks Like
  • Customers consistently reach value quickly, with improvements in activation rate and time-to-value.

  • Product decisions are driven by clear analytics and customer insights, not assumptions.

  • High-impact features are shipped, measured, and iterated based on real user behavior.

  • A well-prioritized product roadmap aligns customer needs, business goals, and engineering effort.
