Job Description
The Product Manager, Data & Analytics is responsible for contributing toward defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products in Allstate & companies’ growing product portfolio. This role focuses on delivering scalable analytical data solutions that directly enable Insurance Product analytical end‑users.The Product Manager assists with establishing strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlogs to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their data products. These products are designed to empower insurance product teams with actionable insights, advanced analytics, and self‑service capabilities that support product performance, profitability, risk selection, and customer outcomes.
Successful Product Managers help identify assumptions and validate those assumptions using product discovery techniques, quantitative analysis, and continuous feedback from analytical end‑users. They bring strong storytelling skills to translate complex data, models, and metrics into clear, compelling narratives that drive insurance product strategy and decision‑making. They also demonstrate natural curiosity—continually asking the right questions to uncover insights, improve analytical solutions, and guide product direction.
The Product Manager is responsible for working closely with key stakeholders and partners across Product, Analytics, Data Engineering, Actuarial, and Technology. This includes ensuring the successful definition and execution of go‑to‑market, adoption, and communication strategies for analytical data products that serve Insurance Product organizations.
Key responsibilities
Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for analytical data products supporting Insurance Product teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and measurable business outcomes.
Partner closely with Insurance Product, Actuarial, Analytics, Data Engineering, and Technology teams to translate product and business needs into scalable analytical solutions.
Lead product discovery activities to identify user needs, validate assumptions, and prioritize opportunities using qualitative and quantitative insights from insurance product analytical end‑users.
Develop and manage product backlogs, including epics and user stories, with clear acceptance criteria that reflect analytical use cases and decision‑making workflows.
Translate complex data, analytics, and model outputs into clear narratives and executive‑ready insights to support product and leadership decision‑making.
Establish success metrics and KPIs to track product performance, adoption, and business impact across insurance product lines.
Collaborate with stakeholders on go‑to‑market, enablement, and communication strategies to ensure successful rollout and sustained usage of analytical data products.
Continuously evaluate opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities through automation, self‑service analytics, and advanced data solutions.
Experience
• 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Insurance Product experience and/or prior experience as an analytical end‑user (e.g., Product, Actuarial, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, or Insurance Analytics) is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Compensation offered for this role is 110,000.00 - 181,025.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
