As a Product Management Intern, you will partner with senior product leaders to shape critical work that helps move our organization to one unified platform. You will gather technical requirements from engineering and commercial stakeholders, translate them into clear written specifications, and help prioritize the work help to do things like reduce provisioning errors, accelerate time-to-access for new products, and unlock tiered and bundled commercial offerings across our emerging product suite.
Your prioritized work and deliverables will ship into a platform used by thousands of global customers — meaning the requirements you write and the trade-offs you help shape will have real, visible impact on how TrueCommerce operates and grows.
What You'll Do:
- Gather technical and business requirements from product leaders, engineering, and commercial stakeholders
- Write clear, well-structured product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria that translate ambiguous business needs into actionable specifications.
- Partner with product leaders to prioritize the backlog based on customer impact, technical dependencies, and commercial value.
- Facilitate the transition of requirements into product development by working closely with engineering teams through grooming, sprint planning, and delivery.
- Document edge cases, integration points, and provisioning workflows across products to reduce inconsistency and access-control fragmentation.
- Support competitive and internal research on entitlement frameworks, packaging models to inform platform design.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to product and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements for Success:
- 0–1 years of professional experience; prior internship or project experience in product, technology, or business analysis is a plus.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate technical discussions into clear, structured requirements.
- Analytical mindset with comfort breaking down ambiguous problems into prioritized, actionable workstreams.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms, APIs, or cloud concepts; exposure to entitlements, RBAC, or identity/access concepts is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with collaboration and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, or equivalent).
