About the Role

We're looking for a Product Designer to help drive the next creative leap at Pika. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you'll shape the core experience of our generative AI platform, empowering millions of creators to bring bold ideas to life with powerful, intuitive design. If you love the intersection of technology and creativity, you'll thrive here.

What You'll Do
  • Own and lead design projects from concept to polished execution across mobile and web for a key area of our creative platform.

  • Collaborate closely with talented product managers, engineers, and researchers to turn visionary ideas and AI advancements into delightful, accessible user experiences.

  • Develop product strategies, refine interaction patterns, and push bold ideas from prototypes to shipped features.

  • Define and uphold visual language, design systems, and user flows that inspire creativity and align with users’ needs.

  • Connect directly with creators and the Pika community to understand how our tools empower expression—and how we can go further.

  • Communicate design intent through storytelling, prototypes, and clear rationale, inspiring collaboration through clear and concise dialogue.

  • Balance systems-thinking with attention to detail—obsessing over fonts, type scales, consistent palettes, spacing, and animation, while delivering coherent and practical solutions.

  • Advocate for real people and a user-centric approach, always designing with empathy and impact in mind.

What We're Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of experience in product design (UI/UX), with a portfolio of shipped mobile apps.

  • Proven track record of leading UX and visual design, showing both your creative thinking and execution.

  • Comfort with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and system-level design.

  • Ability to quickly visualize, prototype, and iterate on new ideas in fast-paced environments.

  • Expertise in developing robust, consistent design logic that maps to users’ mental models.

  • Strong collaborator able to debate ideas with reason, foster alignment, and build strong relationships across teams.

  • Passionate about using technology and design to empower creators and spark new forms of expression.

Bonus Points
  • Experience designing creative tools, social media platforms, or games.

  • A degree in design or related field (not required).

  • Design-engineering chops, high-fidelity prototyping, or animation skills.

  • Based in or around Palo Alto, CA.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary at the frontier of AI

  • Equity in a rapidly growing creative AI startup

  • Comprehensive benefits, monthly creative stipends, and team retreats

  • Flexible remote work, or join us in our vibrant Palo Alto office—where inspiration, ambition, and fun all come together
