You see opportunity in complexity, but your designs are anything but. You discover clarity in the noise of data, recognise patterns that others miss, and know when to dive into the details of a flow versus stepping back to shape the bigger picture. You’re not just solving UX problems; you’re designing thoughtful, intuitive experiences that help users avoid them in the first place.
You're also fluent in the emerging world of agentic design workflows — where AI isn't just a tool you use occasionally, but a collaborator woven into your daily process. You know how to prompt, iterate, and direct AI agents to accelerate exploration, generate design variations, produce production-ready code, and stress-test ideas at a pace that traditional workflows can't match. You treat these capabilities not as shortcuts, but as force multipliers for craft and rigor.
As part of our Product Design team, reporting to the Director of Product Design, you’ll help shape the backbone of our product experience. Usability isn’t just a goal for you—it’s a core principle. You bring a pragmatic mindset to scaling and evolving design systems, and making accessibility feel effortless. You document as you go, refine what exists, and create design foundations that make life easier.
You’re endlessly curious and energized by creating experiences that last, and sharing that knowledge as you gain it. Whether you’re sketching out a new reporting workflow, leveraging AI to accelerate prototyping, or fine-tuning the design system for consistency and scale, you bring craft, care, and collaboration to the playground. If you’re excited to help shape the future of events with data-rich experiences where usability and insight go hand in hand, you’ll feel right at home at Swoogo.
About the RoleAs a Product Designer II at Swoogo, you will work closely with product designers, engineers, and product managers to bring ideas to life through thoughtful, user-centric design across our products.
Contributing to our overall product experience, you will collaborate cross-functionally to translate the needs of our users into elegant solutions that drive business outcomes. You actively leverage agentic AI workflows — using tools like Claude, Figma, and code-generation agents — to enhance the speed, depth, and fidelity of your design explorations. You're curious about how emerging AI technologies can empower event professionals and how agentic workflows can transform the way design teams operate.
Here at Swoogo, our team is passionate, empathetic, hard-working, and above all else, focused on improving the lives of our customers. Our success is their success.
In this role you will:
- Advocate for users’ needs while balancing the business's goals.
- Create solutions for our products through design explorations, documentation, presentations, and collaboration across all of our products, including web, iOS, and Android.
- Use agentic AI workflows daily — prompting, directing, and iterating with AI tools to accelerate prototyping, generate design alternatives, produce implementation-ready assets, and validate concepts faster.
- Contribute to design-to-code governance by helping maintain documentation, component mappings, and design system rules that enable AI agents to generate code consistent with our standards.
- Execute competitor analysis, discovery research, and usability testing.
- Build user flows, customer journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Present and communicate concepts and design rationale to team members and stakeholders.
- Have a high attention to detail and craftsmanship in both design execution and implementation.
- Maintain and contribute to our design system by documenting new patterns, improving existing components, and ensuring consistency across products.
- Follow and enhance established design principles while curating repeatable patterns for consistency and scale.
- Inspire the team, stakeholders, and customers with forward-thinking ideas and define next-generation user experiences.
- Provide clear specifications and documentation to guide engineers in building and implementing your designs.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in SaaS products, ideally for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
- Portfolio that highlights rich design work and patterns you have created or largely contributed to.
- Demonstrated experience with agentic AI design workflows — using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Figma AI, Lovable, v0) not just for one-off tasks but as an integrated part of your design and prototyping process.
- Familiarity with design-to-code pipelines — understanding how design decisions translate into structured components, tokens, and governance documentation that AI agents can consume.
- Knowledge of technical constraints for web, iOS, and Android.
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG, A11y).
- Experience using AI-enabled design or prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Lovable, Claude) to accelerate workflows.
- Hands-on experience working with a design system — maintaining components, contributing new patterns, and applying design tokens consistently across platforms.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills that result in functional and delightful user experiences.
- Systems-level thinking: able to anticipate how design changes ripple through a product ecosystem–including how they affect AI-assisted code generation.
- Experience building or contributing to governance documentation (e.g., component mapping files, design system rules, prompt templates) that support agentic development workflows.
- Comfort orchestrating multi-step AI workflows — for example, going from Figma design → AI code generation → review → iteration in a single sprint cycle.
- Curiosity and adaptability in exploring how AI can enhance reporting, analytics, and user workflows.
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams on AI-driven features or design explorations.
- Exposure to AI-driven data visualization, personalization, or workflow automation.
