Job Description:

At Remitly, we believe everyone deserves the freedom to access, move, and manage their money wherever life takes them. Since 2011, we’ve tirelessly delivered on our promise to customers sending money globally, providing secure, simple, and reliable ways to manage their money, ensuring true peace of mind. Whether it’s supporting loved ones back home, growing a business across continents, or pursuing new opportunities abroad, we’re not just here to move money— we’re here to move our global customers forward.
We’re looking for builders, reimaginers, and global thinkers who want to work at the intersection of technology, trust, and transformation. If that’s you and you’re ready to do the most meaningful work of your career—we invite you to join over 2,800 passionate Remitlians worldwide who are united by our vision to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders.

About the Role:

Remitly is building the Remitly Global Card, a card and account that gives customers a single, trusted place to hold, spend, and move their money, launching across multiple geographies.

As a Product Analyst II on the Global Card team, you'll pick up real ownership from day one: funnel performance and optimization, the economic drivers of a consumer fintech product, how and why customers manage their money, and how marketing and product fit together. You'll combine rigorous, AI-first analysis with hands-on product ownership, including analyzing customer behavior, helping define and prioritize the roadmap, evaluating experiments, and building the trusted data systems and AI-driven workflows that let the whole team make faster, better decisions.

This is not a reporting or support function that exists to service PM requests. It's a builder role with a hard data and AI core, and it's the on-ramp for our next generation of data-driven Product Managers. You'll own a slice of the roadmap, build genuine product judgment, and grow into product leadership over time. You will report to the General Manager and work in a hybrid capacity from our Arlington, VA office.

You Will:

  • Own funnel performance end to end — acquisition, onboarding and KYC, activation, funding, first spend, and retention. Find where customers fall out, size what it's worth to fix, and drive the fix.

  • Analyze the economic drivers of the product — unit economics, spend and funding behavior, cost and revenue per customer — and turn that into a clear point of view on what we should build next.

  • Understand how customers actually manage money: what they spend locally, what they send home, what triggers a remittance, and how the card and the send experience reinforce each other.

  • Own a slice of the product roadmap end to end — from identifying the opportunity, to sizing the impact, to writing requirements or lightweight specs, to partnering with Engineering to ship, to tracking results post-launch.

  • Build and maintain the analytical foundation — clean data models, dashboards, and self-serve tooling — so Product, Engineering, and Marketing can run their own queries and read their own results without waiting on you. Where the data structures don't exist yet, you'll create them.

  • Work in an AI-first way — using LLM-based tools, predictive models, and AI-assisted coding and query workflows to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive reporting, and surface insights faster. You should be looking for ways to automate yourself out of the routine work so you can spend your time on higher-leverage product problems.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to design, run, and interpret A/B tests and experiments, and use results to guide roadmap prioritization and feature development.

  • Drive customer segmentation and lifecycle analysis to identify at-risk cohorts, high-value customers, and opportunities for personalization across product and marketing touchpoints.

  • Connect the dots between marketing and product — partner with Marketing on campaign measurement and attribution, and make sure acquisition, activation, and product engagement are read as one system rather than three.

  • Support launches into new geographies — sizing the opportunity, defining launch-readiness metrics, and reading market-by-market performance as the product expands.

  • Represent the voice of the customer in product discussions, translating research and data into clear recommendations for stakeholders and leadership, while holding the correctness and trust bar a regulated money product demands.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in product analytics, business analytics, data analytics, product management, or a related quantitative/product role.

  • Domain depth in financial services, ideally consumer-facing products. You understand how these products make money and what makes a customer stay.

  • Experienced with writing SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, plus experience with data modeling and structure. You can not only query the data, you can design how it should be stored and built in the first place.

  • A builder's mindset and full-stack product instincts — you'd rather write code to automate a report than pull it by hand, and you care about how the product works, not just how it's measured.

  • Fluency with AI-first tools and workflows, and an instinct to reach for them first.

  • A passion for solving customer problems through data, with genuine curiosity about how product decisions shape customer behavior.
