Associate, Procurement – Energy

Prologis is seeking an ambitious and passionate Procurement Associate who will collaborate with key business partners both internally and externally to develop and manage end-end sourcing processes to ensure sourcing best practices, compliance and operational efficiency across Prologis’ EMS (Energy, Mobility & Sustainability) business units. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, process oriented, agile and be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process from RFP management through to requisition requests to purchase order and delivery.
- Management of Purchase Order, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Inventory Management to maintain adequate inventory records, maintain compliance and allow for quicker responses to supply chain risks and disruptions.
- Documentation and Compliance Reporting, maintaining comprehensive records of purchases and supplier interactions to drive transparency and accountability.
- Support vendor prequalification, maintain supplier databases, and track diversity and domestic content compliance.
- Conduct market research to identify pricing, lead times or potential vendors for key materials categories.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide reports to management as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely updates on procurement status.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services by monitoring vendor performance and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and maintain compliance levels.

- 3+ years of sourcing, supply chain, contracting or procurement experience.
- Strong decision-making and process-oriented skills; including the ability to make timely decisions that reflect a good mixture of analysis, experience, judgment & prudence.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and influence decisions through data analytics, process improvements and vendor management initiatives.
- Excellent communication – facilitation, listening, negotiation, presentation, speaking & writing.
- Problem solving - strong analytical skills and logical/methodical thinker.
Preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management and/or Business Management) strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing, vendor and inventory management functions.
- Domain expertise in solar PV/BESS or global clean energy supply chains.
Hiring Salary Range of: $82,000 - $118,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
