Key Responsibilites:
- Owning the Innovation Engine:
- Architect and continuously improve Boost Mobile's innovation pipeline - ensuring we capture big ideas with big impact
- Design, refine, and optimize processes and tools to keep our innovation system fast, efficient, and high-performing
- Driving Consumer Winning Ideas to Execution:
- Oversee the entire innovation funnel, ensuring that ideas progress smoothly through structured stage-gates and are aligned with Boost Mobile's strategic goals
- Partner with our business divisions and external technology firms to evaluate early-stage ideas, proof-of-concepts, and prototypes for potential application to Boost Mobile's consumer market
- Measuring and Reporting on Innovation Health:
- Define, track, and report on key innovation performance metrics, ensuring leadership understands progress, challenges, and successes
- Partnering Across Organizations:
- Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing and operations teams to bring innovation ideas to life in a way that benefits Boost Mobile's consumers
- Inspiring a Culture of Innovation:
- Showcase successes with engaging newsletters, reports, and presentations to ensure leadership and cross-functional teams stay informed and engaged
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree (ie Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited college or university required, MBA is strongly preferred
- PMP certification is preferred, or equivalent experience in managing large, complex programs across business units and shared service groups
- 10+ years of program management experience managing consumer-facing innovation programs from concept to launch;
- 5+ years of experience building and managing an innovation pipeline, and designing proprietary KPIs to track overall health of innovation
- 5+ years of experience presenting complex programs and strategic insights to C-suite executives and senior leadership with clarity and influence
