JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing procurement data, optimizing purchasing processes, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. This role involves evaluating supplier performance, conducting market research, and providing actionable insights to enhance cost efficiency and operational effectiveness

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or supply chain roles.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.

Other Required KSA’s or Functional Competencies:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or Power BI) and procurement software (e.g., Workday).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. § Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred :

  • Experience with spend analysis and category management.
  • Familiarity with e-procurement platforms and tools.
  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and inefficiencies.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Assess supplier performance metrics, such as delivery times, quality, and pricing, to support supplier selection and contract negotiations.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to procurement processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on procurement activities, savings, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Contract Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
