Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable production-ready advanced analytic, and data science solutions.
- Implement solutions that eliminate or minimize technical debt through a well-designed architecture, data model, and lifecycle.
- Bring together and share best-practice knowledge among the data science and solution architect community.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective.
- Coach, mentor, and help develop data engineers and data scientist.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or Management Information Systems with 10+ years' experience in designing and developing database architecture, Data Warehouse Business Intelligence & Data Science solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in architecting, data modeling, and developing large-scale enterprise data solutions preferably using GCP cloud(BigQuery) or Snowflake.
- 3+ years of cloud experience preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in designing and developing applications and data solutions in combination with BigQuery or Snowflake.
- Expertise in Python programming languages and strong experience in YAML.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with management and developers with a track record of significant direct interaction and peer leadership with partners across the company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in architecting large-scale enterprise data solutions for manufacturing, and/or engineering applications.
- Experience in designing, developing and operationalizing AI/ML models will be an added advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines with and scheduling tools is desirable.
- Experience with AI development/architecture including Google ADK, Snowflake Cortex or creating MCP tools.
