What is the Principal Product Manager - Platform role?

As Principal Product Manager - Platform, you will have the product vision and strategy for the CopilotIQ platform, which serves patients, healthcare providers, and insurance payers by ensuring patients are physically prepared for procedures, are discharged in a timely and safe manner, and receive continuous monitoring during their post-hospital recovery across direct to consumer and business-to-business.  By providing both a suite of software and services, the CopilotIQ Platform delivers improved outcomes, increased patient satisfaction, and more efficient use of healthcare resources. You will participate in business strategy, customer insights, product concepting and execution, and working across all functions to deliver amazing products for patients, providers, and payers.  


The Platform Product Manager prioritizes and builds platform capabilities that will be used by many teams and customers. In addition, the role of a Platform PM involves engagement with developer stakeholders across a spectrum of the business and the management of technical requirements and other platform components.  This position requires a keen focus on quality, performance, security and resilience, to protect end-users who depend on the platform to conduct business.  


This is a leadership position, reporting to the Chief Product and Design Officer and sitting on the product leadership team.  You will be integral to overall business strategy, customer insights, product concepting and execution, and working across all functions to deliver a future vision for amazing products for

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a business leader:
    • Partner with your leader partners across Product, Sales, Marketing, PD, Data Analytics and Customer success to leverage design as a thought leader in strategic innovation
    • Be a futurist, product visionary and a change agent. 
    • Understand and balance the customer and business needs to drive cross-functional partnership, collaboration and decision making.
  • As a product leader:
    • Drive the development of all platform capabilities by understanding the capabilities needs of  the relevant growth and product teams, the platform capabilities ultimate customer ensuring all capabilities are Self-Serve Mature.
    • Provide direction and  insight to the platform capability team in developing a compelling product roadmap (initial launch and integrations) that goes beyond 1 year and that’s based on the customer needs, strategic opportunities, and overall company resources all derived from direct input from product+capabilities and product teams
    • Partner with the data science and finance teams to extrapolate the right metrics needed to measure the success of the platform capabilities roadmap
    • Drive technology driven innovation in partnership with the platform capabilities development team to figure out how various software products would work with other products and services offered by the company; ensure robust, automated testing/quality plans across broad integrations

What you’ll bring

  • A Bachelors; Master's preferred in Product Management, Business, or Computer Science or equivalent experience, preference for experience delivering AI driven product experiences. 
  • 8+ years’ experience delivering products/ services
  • Deep knowledge of customer centric product and design methods of innovation and ideation
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies and their impact on the feasibility 
  • Knowledge of service design~ and how to effectively build services that improve the quality and the interaction between the service provider and customers.
  • Strong skills in communication (written, verbal, and visual), influence and persuasion
