Position Overview:

PINE Advisor Solutions is seeking an Associate to join our Principal Financial Officer (PFO) Services team. This individual will support PINE's registered fund clients across a range of fund products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

In this role, you will assist the PFO team with regulatory filings, fund expense administration, income and capital gain distributions, and board and committee meeting coordination. You will also support the external audit and tax process and help maintain client and business partner relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated financial services professional to deepen their expertise in registered fund operations and gain hands-on exposure to the full fund lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed and analytical reviews of fund regulatory filings including N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, 24F-2 and annual prospectus updates
  • Review of fund expense administration activities
  • Review of fund income and capital gain distributions
  • Prepare and coordinate materials relating to fund board meetings, valuation committee meetings, and disclosure control meetings relating to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and certification procedures
  • Coordinate the external audit and tax process on behalf of clients
  • Maintain and nurture multiple client and business partner relationships

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of financial services industry experience (Fund Accounting/Administration and/or Audit of mutual funds and registered products preferred)
  • Minimum of 4-year college degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; strong knowledge of Excel required
  • Collaborative team member with strong interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented approach
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to learn, research and think critically

Work Model (Hybrid)

  • This position follows a hybrid work schedule, working from our Denver office 2-5 days/week

Salary:  $60,000 - $70,000

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation.
