A Day in the LifeIn this exciting role in the Endoscopy business, your primary responsibility is to enable open lines of communication with societies and physicians with Medtronic Endoscopy. By developing close ties with cross-functional partners in global marketing, medical strategy, and medical education, you will contribute to society strategy and prioritization for business leadership, as well as supporting symposia, advisory boards and other evidence dissemination plans. This role requires excellent and effective communication and the ability to build strong relationships between our societies, business leadership and cross-functional partners. Strong logistics management and organizational skills are required.

         

         

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Supports negotiation and management of society partnerships and sponsorships aligned with strategic objectives. Provides insights from physician and society engagements to inform evidence generation, product strategy, and business decision-making.
  • Organizes company-sponsored symposia and advisory board meetings to generate insights.
  • Maintains and leverages a KOL database to inform engagement strategy, stakeholder mapping and evidence dissemination planning.
  • Supports negotiation and management of society partnerships and sponsorships aligned with strategic objectives by reviewing and approving educational grants. May negotiate sponsorship contracts.
  • Provides insights from physician and society engagements to inform evidence generation, product strategy, and business decision-making.
  • Work on special projects as required.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with physician societies, professional medical associations, or clinical stakeholders
  • Background in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or clinical environments
  • Experience coordinating medical conferences, congresses, or educational events
  • Experience coordinating advisory boards, and physician meetings
  • Familiarity with advisory board planning and execution involving physicians or clinical experts
  • Experience managing educational grants or sponsorship processes
  • Strong project management or event planning experience
  • Experience working with senior leadership and managing executive schedules related to external engagements
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for healthcare professional interactions (e.g., Sunshine Act or similar guidelines).

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$130,400.00 - $195,600.00


This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
