The role involves supporting sales operations for Off-Price customers, managing inventory, updating reports, and coordinating with sales teams and departments.
Job Summary
This role will play an important role in supporting GoldBug’s sales and sales operations. Key to this role will be the coordination, presentation, and overall execution of our Off-Price business. In this role the candidate will interface primarily with the entire sales team and other associated departments such as merchandising while reporting to the Director of Sales Operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, data driven, and curious with a desire to learn our business and contribute.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Be the key contact for all Off Price Customers (TJX, Ross, Burlington, etc).
- Update available inventory for Off Price Accounts and build presentations based on available inventory.
- Pricing autonomy within established guidelines.
- Support the sales team with reporting and communication internally and externally.
- Support the sales teams with item set up information in internal systems and customer platforms.
- Partner with customer service on certain order entry components in addition to Off Price order entry.
- Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and compliant processing from entry to fulfillment.
- Support forecasting, planning, and production as needed.
- Keep track of key sales operations metrics using internal trackers and tools.
- Support the broader Sales Operations team with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Inventory management, understanding aged of inventory and give strategy recommendations to liquidate.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate
- 1 plus years of experience in sales or sales operations, client services, or a related administrative support role, ideally in a fast-paced or cross-functional environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and use of pivot tables, formulas, and dashboards.
- Understanding of inventory management and retail sales operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, track details, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills: clear, professional, and comfortable interacting with both internal teams and external partners.
- A proactive mindset and a knack for identifying issues before they become problems.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in everything from data entry to sales materials.
- Experience with Retail Link, Scintilla, Partners-on-Line and other retailer platforms is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Comfort working independently while staying closely connected to a collaborative team.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn.
