Job Description

Job Summary:

Wholesure Inc., a division of Acrisure, is seeking an experienced Premium Auditor to support the Workers' Compensation delegated authority team. This role involves collecting and reviewing premium audit data to finalize mail audits. The auditor will communicate with policyholders via phone and email to gather necessary audit documentation. Responsibilities involve reviewing financial statements, payroll reports, non-employee labor documents, and verification records to accurately assess policy exposures. Ensure reports are completed and submitted promptly. May also help review physical audits conducted by others.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge and skill in performing audits on Workers' Compensation and General Liability policies under limited supervision. Examines records to ensure that calculations of earned premium for risks are accurate.

  • Validates that the correct classes are applied and are in accordance with governing regulatory agencies and/or independent state bureaus, PAAS, and company procedures by reviewing financial records and other relevant materials.

  • Identifies, researches, and corrects policy-rating issues discovered during the audit process.

  • Works to resolve audit discrepancies and disputes.

  • Performs other value-add services, including new business service calls and scheduled check-ins with account personnel.

  • Reviews results of audits with producers, underwriters, insureds, and Premium Audit leadership.

  • Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of the premium audit function.

  • Keeps current with manual rules, market trends, and demands.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline OR equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of Premium Audit experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Demonstrated strong proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools, e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Power BI

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
