We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to lead the technical side of sales opportunities across the U.S., working closely with Sales, customers, consultants, contractors, and building operations teams.
The role combines customer engagement, solution design, building systems knowledge, and commercial thinking, supporting both new construction and existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and customer-facing discussions.
- Design practical water management and leak mitigation solutions based on customer needs, risk, and budget.
- Review MEP, plumbing, and construction drawings and prepare technical markups and system layouts.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and support technical evaluations, RFPs/RFIs, and pilot projects.
- Work closely with developers, owners, GCs, MEP consultants, contractors, and facility teams.
- Support technical handover and deployment readiness.
- Provide field insights to Product and R&D and support partners and integrators when required.
Qualifications
- Up to 3 years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, MEP engineering, building systems, construction technology, project engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of building infrastructure and mechanical/plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP, plumbing, and construction drawings.
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong practical problem-solving and solution design capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% within the U.S.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Building Systems, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with plumbing, water systems, HVAC, IoT, smart buildings, building automation, or construction technology.
- Experience working with building owners, developers, GCs, MEP contractors, or consulting engineers.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools.
