Pre-Litigation Paralegals independently manage assigned personal injury cases while working closely with attorneys to develop cases from intake through the pre-litigation process.  The position involves:

  • Extensive contact with clients to guide clients through the case process
  • Communication with medical and records providers, experts and party witnesses
  • Collect, review, analyze and summarize medical, financial, and other case-related documentation and records
  • Well-developed writing and research skills, and the ability to advocate on behalf of our client
  • Ability to anticipate attorney’s needs, identify potential problems and identify and recommend solutions
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high-volume workload
  • Experience in managing electronic (Filevine or other legal case management system) and paper filing systems
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of progressive pre-litigation experience (plaintiff personal injury)
  • Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate is preferred but not required
