Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Manage personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring timing and strategic handling of all aspects of the case
  • Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the client’s behalf when appropriate
  • Conduct thorough case research, review medical records, and gather relevant information to build compelling cases
  • Draft and modify legal documents, including pleading and demand letters
  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure cases are handled effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain organized and updated documentation for each case in the firm’s case management system
Qualifications

Position requirements include:

  • Attorneys with 3-5 years of experience in Personal Injury Pre-Litigation case management are encouraged to apply
  • The candidate should have high level analytical and legal research and writing skills and a passion for advocating for injured parties due to the wrongful acts of another
  • This position will work closely with clients, and collaborate with senior attorneys, other associates, and legal staff
  • The ideal candidate should enjoy working with others and collaborating on personal injury matters to achieve the best outcome on behalf of Burg Simpson’s clients
  • A license to practice law is mandatory and a license to practice in Colorado is preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply, but is not a requirement of the position
