This position develops, maintains, and enhances clinical, safety, and operational data dashboards; supports visualization standards and reusable dashboard components; performs quality control and validation checks; and contributes to continuous improvement, automation, and innovation in the use of data visualization platforms and analytics solutions.

This role meets with a diverse team to support requirements gathering, dashboard development, issue resolution, user acceptance activities, and delivery of visualization solutions aligned with business needs, clinical data standards, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the design, development, validation, and maintenance of clinical data visualizations and dashboards under the guidance of the Principal Data Visualization Developer, ensuring visual analytics solutions support trial monitoring, data review, safety review, and operational decision-making across clinical studies.
  • Develops and applies visualization standards, reusable dashboard components, and supporting data specifications to enable consistent, scalable, and high-quality clinical, safety, and operational data visualizations across studies.
  • Performs and supports quality control processes, acceptance criteria, and validation checks for visualization datasets and dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, traceability, and reliability of clinical data visualizations used for trial monitoring, safety review, and operational decision-making.
  • Translates business and study needs into dashboard specifications and help ensure clinical data visualization solutions are fit-for-purpose, intuitive, reliable, and aligned with data review and trial oversight objectives.
  • Supports cross-functional alignment by collaborating with Statistics, Data Management, Clinical Operations, Safety, Standards, and external partners to promote consistent understanding, adoption, and effective use of clinical data visualization standards, dashboard capabilities, and data review expectations across studies.
  • Contributes to automation, innovation, and advanced analytics by applying visualization platforms, SAS, Python, R, AI-enabled capabilities, and other emerging technologies to improve dashboard development, streamline data review processes, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical trial oversight.
Qualifications
  • Degree (BSc/MSc/Diploma) in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or related area
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in clinical data visualization, dashboard development, or related clinical data analytics within the CRO/pharmaceutical environment.
  • Significant hands on experience with PowerBI and SAS
  • Experience supporting technical delivery activities with a strong understanding of the end-to-end clinical data lifecycle, including data acquisition, transformation, visualization dataset preparation, dashboard development, validation, and operational use for trial monitoring and data review.
  • Working knowledge of clinical data standards and data structures, including CDISC standards such as CDASH, SDTM, and ADaM, with practical application in developing or reviewing visualization datasets, specifications, mappings, and dashboard-ready data outputs across studies.
