The PLM Solutions OCM Consultant is responsible for providing technical support and administration for Organizational Change Management (OCM) and adoption-related services for our global customer base, with a strong focus on PTC’s Creo and Windchill solutions. This individual will support the adoption team, mentor cross-functional members, and establish best practices to ensure customers achieve full adoption and value realization. The team member will partner closely with OCM team leadership, cross-functional teams, and customers to align, document, and train based on the needs of the adoption practice. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administer and manage OCM and adoption-related services using PTC Windchill, Creo, and general technical expertise to ensure seamless integration and functionality for customers targeted by the PLM Adoption and OCM team. 

  • Assist in the development and refinement of PLM adoption and technical best practices to drive measurable value, ensuring consistency across the customers. 

  • Mentor cross-functional team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities and ensure continuous improvement. 

  • Develop and deliver documented training and mentoring programs tailored to customer needs, ensuring comprehensive understanding and effective use of PTC’s solutions. 

  • Provide guidance or drive developing customer training materials and best practices (e.g., "train the trainer") to ensure effective PLM user adoption. 

  • Design and manage adoption reporting metrics (e.g., user engagement, system usage, and value attainment) to track customer progress and ensure PLM success. 

  • Lead, manage, and provide regular updates on projects related to PLM adoption and OCM, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer goals. 

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and issues are resolved promptly. 

  • Continuously assess and improve adoption and OCM processes to enhance customer experience and outcomes. 

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to ensure PTC’s solutions support OCM and adoption needs. 

  

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of experience using and implementing global systems for large organizations, with strong proficiency in PLM systems and deep knowledge of Creo and Windchill use and administration. 

  • Excellent training, instructional, and project management skills with proficiency in documentation and technical writing. 

  • Extensive experience in PLM use and global system implementations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects in fast-paced environments. 

  • Established collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and end users in PLM environments. 

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the global adoption team to align with business goals.

  • Key customers are successfully utilizing PTC’s PLM solutions and expanded capabilities. 

  • Customer health metrics and satisfaction scores are positive, reflecting increased adoption and engagement. 

  • OCM methodologies are consistently applied and shared across internal teams and partners to ensure success. 

  • Customers are eager to participate in testimonials and share their success stories based on positive experiences. 

  • Customers are leveraging additional PTC solutions beyond PLM, increasing the overall value delivered. 

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $100,000 - $140,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of PTC’s benefits programs, employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and a generous commuter subsidy.
