Position: PKI Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PKI Engineer to support the operations and engineering of our Certificate Authority infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of hands-on PKI experience with strong knowledge of certificate lifecycle management, CA operations, and enterprise PKI environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Certificate Authority infrastructure
- Manage certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and related PKI operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve PKI and certificate-related issues
- Ensure security, availability, and compliance of PKI systems
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on certificate-related needs
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a PKI Engineer, preferably 5 to 10 years
- Strong understanding of PKI, digital certificates, key management, CRL, and OCSP
- Hands-on experience with Certificate Authority infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
