We’re looking to expand our team across the board.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Personnel Security Manager to join our Security team. The ideal candidate will oversee the management and coordination of personnel security programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and industry best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of security protocols, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and manage personnel security policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee security clearances, background investigations, and personnel vetting processes.
  • Collaborate with other security team members, HR, and management to address personnel security concerns and requirements.
  • Conduct security briefings and training for staff regarding personnel security policies and practices.
  • Provide guidance and advice on handling sensitive personnel security information.
  • Monitor and track security clearance renewals and updates.
  • Investigate and respond to personnel security incidents or breaches.
  • Maintain and update personnel security records and databases.
  • Ensure that the company meets all regulatory and contractual personnel security obligations.
  • Manage and track all security related training requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel security management or a related security field.
  • In-depth knowledge of personnel security policies, background investigations, and security clearance processes.
  • Strong understanding of federal regulations (e.g., NISPOM, ICD 704) and industry standards for personnel security.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with DISS, NBIS, and other personnel security systems of record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • TS/SCI Security clearance is required.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a government or defense contracting environment.
