MaintainX is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to manage Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns end-to-end, including keyword strategy, ad copy, bidding, and targeting. This role will optimize performance to improve CPL, CVR, and pipeline, manage budgets, run A/B tests, and analyze search queries for opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  • Own day-to-day management of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Bing) campaigns, including keyword strategy, ad copy, bidding, and targeting.
  • Monitor performance and proactively optimize campaigns to improve CPL, CVR, and pipeline efficiency.
  • Track and manage SEM budget pacing, flagging opportunities or risks.
  • Conduct search query analysis to identify negative keywords, new opportunities, and gaps in coverage.
  • Execute A/B testing for ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies to maximize performance.
  • Support reporting on spend, lead volume, QLs, SQLs, and pipeline contribution, providing insights to inform strategy
  • Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure campaign tracking, attribution, and reporting are accurate and aligned with business goals.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, search platform updates, and competitor activity to inform strategy.

About you:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (quantitative field of study strongly preferred).
  • You have 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing SEM campaigns and a strong understanding of keyword strategy, bidding models, budget management, and account structure best practices.
  • You have experience with budget management, pacing, and optimization across large-scale SEM programs.
  • You play to win. Competition motivates you, and you thrive in high-performance environments where the bar is always rising.
  • You’re innately curious — always asking “why,” testing new ideas, and digging deeper than what’s on the surface.
  • You’re analytical and detail-oriented, but also creative in problem-solving. You love finding insights in the data that others miss.
  • You’re relentless about improvement — “good enough” isn’t good enough when there’s a chance to optimize.
  • You’re a true team player: you bring energy, resilience, and collaboration to help the team succeed.
  • Above all, you take ownership. You don’t just execute campaigns — you care about driving real business impact.

What’s in it for you:

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities.
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) / RRSP enrolment program.
  • Take what you need PTO.
  • A Work Culture where:
    • You’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist.
    • We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated.
