POSITION SUMMARY

Broadvoice is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused People Operations Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations and enhance the employee experience across the organization. This role plays a key part in managing employee inquiries, maintaining HRIS data accuracy and supporting People Team functions.

The ideal candidate thrives in a small, collaborative team environment and is passionate about delivering employee-centered experience while helping strengthen HR processes, infrastructure, and best practices.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations & Employee Experience

  • Responsible for first-level employee support for HR, Benefit and Payroll related inquiries.
  • Monitor and respond to HR tickets ensuring timely, accurate, and service-oriented support.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate people team members.
  • Track common questions and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement.

HRIS Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS system (employee records, job changes, compensation updates, etc.).
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions including transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Partner with HRBP and Payroll as needed on standard reporting, audits and needed analysis.
  • Develop process documentation and surface system or workflow improvement opportunities.

People Team Support

  • Provide administrative and operational support to HRBPs, Payroll Manager and Head of People.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding related activities as needed.
  • Partner on performance review cycles, engagement initiatives, and other people team projects.
  • Provide partnership and support to Payroll function as needed.
  • Support employee engagement events and culture initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or related supportive role.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms.
  • Experience in a ticketing or shared services environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting various HR projects.
  • Understanding of CA/Non-CA HR compliance and employment practices.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
