The role & impact
As a Partner Success Manager, you will be responsible for accelerating the growth of Xero Partners by increasing revenue from existing customers in a regional selection of our NZ partners. This is a Goal-Motivated role focused on Achieving Targets and driving measurable outcomes. You will be a trusted advisor, challenging the thinking of our Partners and helping them understand the value of the Xero Ecosystem. By facilitating growth through education, strategy, and guidance, you will enable the sustainable, long-term growth and retention of your allocated firms.
This role is about building deep, lasting relationships with Partners and stakeholders, developing multiple contacts within each firm. Your success will be visible in achieving monthly revenue targets and activity levels. You will directly contribute to building a stronger economy by empowering a community behind small businesses, helping them realise their limitless potential.
The team & how they connect
You will be joining a team of Senior Partner Success Managers and other Partner Success Managers, reporting to the Manager, Partner Success. The team's structure is designed for a coordinated effort, where you will work closely with other in-team and cross-functional members, including the Partner Consulting team, to deliver an amazing service and achieve individual and territory goals. This collaborative environment supports a Relationship Driver mindset, fostering a positive impact together.
The team is currently working on
Working to increase revenue through Xero plan upgrades and growing the attach rate of connected payment services.
Developing and executing a territory plan in partnership with the Regional Manager.
Liaising with key add-ons and educating Partners on the Xero Partner programme.
Identifying and mitigating early deletion risks by driving online strategy deep within partner practices.
Where and how you can work
This is a hybrid full-time role based in either our Auckland or Wellington office. You will build strong rapport with partners and have the autonomy to own your allocated territory, which will involve planning and travelling to many client and Partner events.

You possess proven sales performance and a results-driven approach.
You will bring an enthusiasm for building strong relationships and the ability to create quick, strong rapport with Partners.
You are process driven, take ownership, and possess the ability to work autonomously.
You have experience with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, to manage your territory effectively.
You demonstrate outstanding communication and public speaking skills for presenting to and educating Partners.
You have experience in managing long-term, C-suite level relationships.
