Partner Solution Engineer - Industry Solutions (AWS)
Job Description
This Partner Solution Engineer role, focused on jointly developing industry-specific solutions that capitalize on the strengths of both organizations. Success in this role requires a combination of deep technical understanding, strong business insight, and exceptional relationship management skills to facilitate successful co-selling initiatives with AWS. Responsibilities include offering technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, collaborating with partners to design and implement industry solutions, and creating and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and design joint technical solutions tailored to specific industry challenges, utilizing our company's offerings in conjunction with AWS services.

Develop technical proofs-of-concept, reference architectures, and implementation frameworks that highlight the combined value proposition for customers.

Work closely with AWS solution architects and industry experts to ensure alignment of technology strategies and solution frameworks.

Create technical content for training, enablement, and knowledge sharing for both internal teams and AWS personnel.

Provide in-depth technical support at the account and opportunity level during both pre-sales and post-sales engagements.

Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, collaborating with Industry GTM and CTO teams to identify new ideas and partnership opportunities with AWS.

Maintain a strong understanding of AWS service offerings, particularly those relevant to the assigned industry vertical.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in solution engineering or technical sales, coupled with an understanding of modern data architectures.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both partners and customers.

Experience in developing solutions for specific industries such as healthcare, financial services, or retail.

AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer, are highly desirable.

Hands-on experience with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt, Spark) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., XGBoost, PySpark ML).

Prior experience in technical roles with direct partner interaction.

Familiarity with co-selling models, partner enablement strategies, and joint Go-To-Market (GTM) approaches.

Industry-specific knowledge or certifications pertinent to the target vertical are considered a significant advantage.

A strong track record of successfully developing complex technical solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
