We are looking for a paralegal who is passionate about solving the legal challenges for a fast-growing company in the technology sector.

As a Paralegal at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. Reporting directly to the General Counsel,  the Paralegal will have broad exposure to the entire organization, and assist across all legal matters impacting the company both in the US and abroad.

 What You’ll Do:
  • Drafting and reviewing Board of Directors and shareholder resolutions
  • Maintaining the cap table
  • Managing domestic and international subsidiary compliance
  • Developing and managing  the company’s contract database
  • Assisting with drafting and  reviewing a diverse range of agreements including NDAs, vendor and supplier contracts, and marketing/sales contracts
  • Maintaining the  trademark docket and assisting on intellectual property compliance
  • Assisting with equity and debt financing transactions
  • Managing virtual data rooms
What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • In-house and/or law firm experience
  • Familiarity with contract terms and general corporate compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) or Google Office Suite (Docs, Drive, Sheets, and Slides)
  • Excellent organizations skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, formatting) and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization

  • We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is $83,600 - $125,400 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
