Provide legal support to attorneys in the Legal Department.  Primary responsibilities will be employment and commercial litigation support, but may also include intellectual property, bankruptcy, and other legal project support.

  • Support attorneys in collecting and responding to discovery requests 

  • Gather and synthesize background information and documents for development of early case strategy

  • Draft responses to EEOC and state agency complaints and support attorney through defense of such complaints

  • Manage service of process process and direct legal documents to the appropriate internal resource for response

  • Respond to subpoena requests

  • Proficiency with legal research tools and techniques.  
  • Proficiency with G-suite applications, especially Sheets, Docs, and Slides.  

  • Ability to learn and use proprietary software and database applications.  

  • Written communication skills, particularly with memorandum and letter writing and proofreading.    

  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize a varied and heavy workload.  

  • Ability to compose complete and accurate documents with attention to detail.  

  • Ability to work on a team with attorneys, colleagues and assistant in handling responsibilities and fulfilling duties.  

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of customers, employees and proprietary information.  

  • Travel not required except for administrative and training purposes.  

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  

  • Ability to work independently and carefully carry out instructions.  

  • Desire to work and collaborate in a team environment.
