Architects, Infrastructure Engineering for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Provide architectural and big-picture oversight for the development of new or enhanced software products. Responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of software architecture across the entire system. Provide day-to-day technical guidance to development teams. Define the system, technical, and application architectures for major areas of development and recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness. Stay up to date on business initiatives and objectives, particularly as these relate to infrastructure and development architecture issues. Research and implement best practices, frameworks/capability models that will control costs, provide higher quality, and/or increase predictability of service delivery. Provide in-depth consultation on data analysis and make recommendations that may impact products, services, or processes. *Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related Engineering field, or any related field plus 2 years of experience in Network Engineering required. Required Skills: Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC); Cisco PSTN Gateway; Cisco Unified Communication Manager; BroadSoft Broadworks; Asterisk; Oracle WebRTC Session Controller; Kamailio; Freeswitch; UCaaS/CCaaS; 3GPP IMS; Voice over IP; SIP/RTP/RTCP; Diameter; SNMP; DHCP; DNS; Hammer call analyzer; SIPp; Wireshark; JDSU LTE Signaling Analyzer; Qualcomm QxDM; Java. Telecommuting Permitted. (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related Engineering field, or any related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in Network Engineering also acceptable.)
Salary: $161,179/yr.-$200,000/yr. #LI-DNI
