About the Role
As a member of a cross-functional team, performs semi-skilled production machine operations to assemble/fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team goals. Ensures smooth launch and ongoing performance of painted products.
Your Responsibilities
May perform work manually and/or by machine operation which requires in-depth knowledge of process and constant monitoring.
Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem solving activities.
Makes machine adjustments and typically manages several variables within the process.
Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned area.
Efficiently performs basic preventative maintenance and moderately complex machine setups.
Maintains material movement systems and completes proper paperwork and documentation to guide operations of the team.

Must have experience with color measurement and proportioning equipment, two component mixing, application and curing processes on plastic and metal substrates. Possesses specific knowledge, expertise, and is technically current in product development field.
