Q3 Contracting (Q3C), a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is a publicly owned and operated construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for its customers in the gas, oil, electric and telecommunications industry. We are headquartered in Minnesota, with branch offices in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.


We are actively hiring an Operations Support Lead for our Utilities segment based out of our Commerce City, Colorado office.

Anticipated Start Date: October 26, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and effectively manage and coordinate assigned work volumes for contracts assigned.
  • Responsible for the quality of work done on the job, assuring that all work performed by the employee(s) meets our quality standards and requirements.
  • Build and maintain customer relations continuously working to resolve their concerns or requests.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and that the work adheres to construction schedules.
  • Work to resolve complaints and grievances with the workforce as needed documenting the problems and resolution.
  • Determine the sequence and manner in which work will be carried out, consistent with established customer requirements and internal processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all work performed by employee and contractors’ meets the highest standards of quality workmanship as defined by the customer and/or the company.
  • Build achievable metrics for the team and oversee the day-to-day performance of the employee(s).
  • Communicate and cooperate with the Area Supervisor, Area Manager, General Manager, Operations, Human Resources and Safety Manager on job details and requirements to build a bridge between departments and create one best practice within the support group.
  • Communicate with external partners to ensure that the organization’s processes run smoothly.
  • Assist with implementing new processes and systems; identify issue and document them until a solution is found.
  • Provide a safe working environment for the employees by objectively looking into every situation to find solution and provide the employee(s) support.
  • Communicate any problems/concerns to the Area Managers and bring forward solutions and documentation.
  • Actively communicates with employees, Area Supervisor and managers as required.
  • Actively communicates and handles Contract complaints to resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Post secondary training in construction or engineering.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to share expertise with others and continually build their knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to focus on solving conflict.
  • Ability to set expectations and monitor delegated activities to their successful conclusion.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Understand the business implications of decisions and display an orientation to profitability.
  • Work within the approved budget and conserve resources.

  • Knowledge of computers and experience with Excel spreadsheets.
