The Role We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Operations Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you will drive operational excellence across the company, ensuring seamless business processes, financial operations, and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, you will play a key role in scaling the company, optimizing internal processes, and supporting employees and investors.

As a crucial member of our small but mighty team, you will be involved in nearly every aspect of the business—from financial management and marketing to investor communications and operational strategy. Your work will be critical in enabling the success of our team members and our business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Business Management

  • Oversee financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting

  • Manage and reconcile budgets, working closely with external accountants and auditors

  • Support investor relations by preparing financial updates, board reports, and communications

  • Assist with fundraising initiatives, including due diligence and pitch presentation

Operational Strategy & Efficiency

  • Improve operational workflows to enhance scalability and efficiency across teams

  • Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and insurance requirements across states where we operate

  • Develop playbooks and best practices to streamline firm operations

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration, including benefits and payroll management

Event & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Plan and execute investor meetings, roundtables, and customer events

  • Support CEO sales outreach and customer acquisition efforts with data tracking and CRM management

  • Coordinate logistics for team offsites, conferences, and speaking engagements

  • Drive more opportunities for fun amongst the team

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, financial services, or a high-growth startup environment

  • Proven ability to manage financial processes, including bookkeeping and budget tracking

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a knack for streamlining processes

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in early stage SaaS operations

  • Familiarity with operational accounting tracking and investor communications

  • Hands-on bookkeeping experience with Xero or similar accounting software

  • Event planning and logistics experience
